Meme coin Shiba Inu has again broken new bounds, surged to a new All-Time High Price, and found a place among the top 10 cryptocurrencies.

After the Dogecoin killer as it is often referred to, shrugged off the recent flash crash, it has continued to skyrocket. Shiba Inu’s price has gone up by over 133 percent in the past four days.

So far in October, SHIB has spiked by over 650 percent as it records the most extensive circulating supply in the industry. It is currently at a new all-time high price of $0.00006856 per token.

Shiba Inu found its way to be among the top 10 cryptos after it briefly overtook Dogecoin’s market cap and that of USD Coin. At press time, Shiba’s market cap sits at $33,554 (CoinGecko), while Doge’s market cap struggles around $32,010.

This is the first time Shiba Inu has entered the top 10 coins ranked by total market cap. Not only has SHIB increased its price – the Shiboshis, Shiba Inu’s NFTs, have experienced massive demand as well. The Shiboshis is an NFT collection of 10,000 digitized creatures that sold out in less than an hour, some of them selling for 0.1 ETH to 0.3 ETH.

What happens to Dogecoin after Shiba Inu surge?

Speculation remains rampant on rumors that Robinhood will add SHIB to its crypto-related offerings as the general market believe is that the coin would continue to surge. The surge will continue if orders continue to pile up since it does not face any discernable resistance barriers ahead.

A dramatic boost for SHIB came after a petition on Change.org to list the coin on Robinhood Markets Inc. Vlad Tenev, CEO of Robinhood, said the broker is “carefully” considering adding new coins to the platform, and SHIB has more than 320,000 signatures from retail traders eager to trade it.

However, the market isn’t showing a wider meme coin surge right now: Dogecoin is down more than 8 percent over the last 24 hours at a price below $0.24.

If Shiba Inu continues rising the way it has over the last 24 hours and Dogecoin can’t match its upward momentum, Shiba Inu may cement its place above Dogecoin by total market cap, making it the premier meme crypto on the market.
